CRUFTS 2024

Had a trip on Thursday 7th March with Kilfinan Nighingail (Rhona) to represent Skye Terriers in the final of the British & Irish Native Vulnerable Breeds final.  Judge Gavin Robertson. Rhona enjoyed her day took it all in her stride and wasn't bothered at all by the rather daunting main ring with a big crowd of spectators,.  Not placed but a wonderful experience.

Returned on Saturday 9th March with Kilfinan Ladybird (Clover) and Talraz Light Uo The Sky for Kilfinan (Shadow).  Clover was judged by Derek Smith and was placed 1st in Limit Bitch.  Shadow had had an injury to his shoulder which he appeared to have recovered from but in the ring he went slightly lame and paid the price under Judge Lynn Dumbrell.

Bitches were Judged by Maureen Betts.
2nd Limit Bitch for Kilfinan Ladybird (Clover)
Dogs were Judged by Dr Margaret Buckley;
Talraz Light Up the Sky for Kilfinan (Shadow) was carrying an injury so wasn't shown.
Had the pleasure of showing Kilfinan Mister Moonlight for Talluarchy (Lucas) for Jane Peart and pleased he was 2nd in Open Dog and got the Reserve CC.

Judge was Tom Johnston.
Open Dog - Talraz Light Up The Sky for Kilfinan placed 2nd
Limit Bitch - Kilfinan Ladybird unplaced.

26th August 2024 North of England Bearded Collie Club Championship Show

Unfortunately Driffield Champ Show had been cacelled due to storm damage to their site but fortunately NEBCOL were able to find an alternative venie nearby to have their show.
